The first look image for The Kissing Booth 3 is released. Netflix’s rom-com franchise is debuting its threequel in August 11, and to drive up the hype for the blockbuster, marketing appears to be starting soon. Based on the novels of the same name written by Beth Reekles, The Kissing Booth premiered in 2018; the second installment of the series, The Kissing Booth 2 arrived a couple years later in 2020, which directly springboards what can be expected from its upcoming sequel.

From the looks of it, The Kissing Booth 3 might be stretching out Elle’s conflict that was introduced at the end of the second movie. With the film being primarily set during the summer break allows all the main characters to spend a little bit more time with each other. The Kissing Booth 2 already had Noah separated from the group for the most part of its run as he’s across the country studying at Harvard. He only spent time with Elle and the rest of the characters during his girlfriend’s visit to his school and over at Thanksgiving holiday which wasn’t really a great experience for anyone involved. The question now is if Elle choosing her college school to be the upcoming movie’s core narrative issue or is there more to it?
